When our babies are sick, we’ll do just about anything to make them feel better. One mum who can attest to this is The Saturdays star, Rochelle Humes.

The star – who is mum to four-year-old Alaia-Mai and six-month-old Valentina Raine – took to Instagram to reveal the EXTREMES she went to this week, to help her ailing baby.

On her Stories, the 28-year-old told her followers: “Just put Valentina to bed. She's not been very well, actually, the past couple of days. She’s teething, and got a cold and everything.

“[She was] so bunged up that, last night – wait for it – I sucked the snot out of her nose. Yeah.

“The joke of it is, is that she actually looked at me like, ‘Mum, what on Earth are you doing to me? Get off me, this is disgusting!’

“And I’m sort of looking at her like, ‘I’ve just tasted snot for the first time in my life.’”

We would love to be a fly on the wall when Valentina gets older, and she is regaled with this hilarious tale!

Rochelle has always been very honest about her experience of motherhood. While pregnant with Valentina, she asked her followers for advice on consuming her placenta.

“Has anyone tried a placenta smoothie or placenta pills after birth?” she asked, on social media. “I’m intrigued.”

Clearly, after a wave of positive reviews from fans, Rochelle was sold. Following Valentina’s birth, in March, the star revealed that she had gone for placenta encapsulation.

After being very curious I took the plunge, so excited to feel the benefits..Thanks so much Danielle @placentaplus

She shared a photo of a hamper filled with her capsules along with Valentina’s umbilical cord, arranged into the word ‘love’.

The image split opinion on Instagram, with some fans a little creeped out by the frame – a reaction which reality star Danielle Lloyd has experienced this past week.

Danielle, who welcomed her fourth child earlier this month, was met with mixed reaction when she shared her own blue-themed placenta frame to her social media channels.

If there’s one thing we know, it’s that you can’t please everyone!
