It's nowhere near Halloween, yet all of a sudden we have an urge to break out our Hocus Pocus VHS tape because one of its stars just gave birth!
That's right, Vinessa Shaw, also known as Allison in the spooktacular 1993 classic, has welcomed her first child. She and husband Kristopher Gifford first announced they were expecting back in August of 2017.
And now their little one is here! Their baby boy Jack came two and a half weeks after his due date of February 20, and the new mum wrote on Instagram that it was a 'long labour with many complications'.
She originally planned to have a natural birth, however the Los Angeles native said it was 'derailed'. Thankfully, though, the 41-year-old actress shared that 'we came out victorious, healthy, and happy'.
We're glad to hear that! Jack certainly sounds very healthy, tipping the scales at 9lbs 9oz.
And as for Vinessa? "Too tired to write anything else. Nap time!" she finished her Insta caption. We can definitely sympathise!
While we still like to think of the actress in her iconic role, as the teenager with an encyclopedic knowledge of Salem's witchy history, she's been on our screens over the past 25 decades in all sorts of parts.
Vinessa played a recurring character on the tv series Ray Donovan and had a part in the 2007 film 3:10 to Yuma, to name a few. Last year she starred in a thriller released on Netflix called Clinical.
And now she's starring in a new role: mum! Congratulations to Vinessa and Kristopher!
