Bringing new wireless technology to the care of people with epilepsy, the Epi-Care is the only wrist sensor with the ability to detect tonic-clonic seizures.

The Epi-Care sensor provides second to none safety to the wearer whether they are awake and going about their daily routine or asleep. It is suitable for all adults and for children over the age of 10.

The Epi-Care is an easy to use lightweight, discreet sensor worn on the wrist. The advanced 3-axis accelerometer is able to detect convulsions and vibrations that occur during seizures.

It can be configured so that the watch communicates wirelessly with an android smartphone, or, with a control unit that is placed centrally in the home. Users are then able to move around freely, whilst the sensor constantly monitors their movements.

The Pearl+ mobile is a portable safety device which is small in size and lightweight. It is designed for both personal security and has an inbuilt emergency button as well as a motion sensor. Both these features ensure direct contact to your chosen emergency contact or monitoring centre should you encounter a difficult or threatening situation. The Vega is a purpose built system to aid safer walking for those with Alzheimer or other cognitive disorders. Vega allows wearers to walk freely in a predetermined safe zone but raises an automatic alarm should the wearer walk outside of this zone. Vega also features an RF home base that indicates to the Vega bracelet that the wearer is at home.

The Vega is designed to allow more freedom whilst yet reducing risk.

The WISE home is created by combining Tunstall’s telecare sensors and alarms to support people to live safely and independently in their home. The Lifeline Vi+ is Tunstall’s newest home unit, and is the most technically advanced, flexible and simple to use telecare platform. Building upon Tunstall’s legacy of over 50 years of research, development and innovation, the Lifeline Vi+ sets a new benchmark in the development of telecare solutions.

The Lifeline Vi+ allows the resident to make quick and easy contact with Tunstall Emergency Response’s 24 hour response centre. In an emergency the medical alarm dials directly to the response centre. Using the powerful internal speaker and microphone, the client can speak hands free with the operator, while the operator organises the appropriate assistance.

The Advanced Multifunction monitor integrates many monitoring functions to support those with health conditions such as Epilepsy, into a single compact device. The monitor has a liquid crystal display screen with back lighting and a touch sensitive keypad for easy operation of the monitor’s features. In the event of an alarm condition a high visibility red alarm light flashes on the top of the monitor.

There are several screen displays, which provide details and allow adjustment of the various monitor functions. The monitor can be configured to the particular requirements of the user, with as much or as little user/carer control as required.

The alarm can be sent to the pager, or can activate a Nurse Call System.

The Lifeline Dual is Tunstall’s first Lifeline home unit with an integrated GSM module to enable the unit to be deployed on a mobile phone (GSM) network or land line phone. This provides a simple solution when no land line is available.

When the Lifeline Dual is activated in an emergency, it dials Tunstall’s 24 hour monitoring centre putting the user in contact with a Tunstall Emergency Response operator, who will aid the client by assessing the situation and contacting the necessary parties to assist. Using the powerful internal speaker and microphone, the client can speak hands free with the operator until help arrives. The MyAmie is a small, discreet pendant, which allows the user to raise an alarm call in an emergency, even if the home unit is out of reach or in another room.

In response to feedback, they have designed a very comfortable to wear pendant that is half the size of the Amie+, yet the red button is a third larger. The unique oval design enables the pendant to be switched around for use with either a wide or a narrow wrist strap as well as supporting multiple wearing options – wrist, neck, key ring, belt clip.
