What a fabulous product! And I don't say that lightly, or often. Got it and first noticed how pretty the bottle is, and I don't know about other mums, but this is the first thing that attracts me to cosmetics etc. A bit shallow but hey. I wasn't wrong with this one, afer trying it for just a few days I definitely noticed a different. It feels so lovely putting it on, so silky and smells lovely too. I've really enjoyed using this, and it's a product I'd never consider buying (even though it looks really pretty

I always though the Vichy brand was a specialist skincare brand, that you only get in pharmacies and hadn’t really considered it for part of my day to day skincare routine. Obviously that’s changed now.
My routine is pretty careful – I always cleanse at night and use a tonic and moisturiser too. I apply make up most days and always wear SPF to protect my skins so I think it’s an ok routine but my skin has a tendency to look dull and when I see others with more glowing skin, I often wonder how they are achieving it.
I had seen ads for other serums but didn’t really know how to use them so never bothered buying or using one until now. I love the look of the product and the packaging – I know boxes and bottles are superficial and aren’t necessarily reflective of what’s inside but on this occasion, how it looked reflected what was in the inside too. The box is super pretty and the product itself is lovely and girly too. It smells great. I’ve been using it now for two weeks and I have to say I’m delighted with the difference. I probably didn’t need to wait this long to prove it’s a good product but I wanted to be sure that it wasn’t just a short lived improvement. My skin is softer than it has ever been but more importantly, the illusive glow that I was after is now part of how I look each day. I felt truly special when a friend asked me had I done something different!! A first.
I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending this product and to be honest – it’s affordable vs. other serums (I’ve checked out the pricing now) and think the results are worth the extra cost to my skincare routine.

I just want to say firstly thanks a million for choosing me to try this product i love it. I have been looking for a serum to add to my skin care regime. I cleanse tone and mositurize everday since the day i turned 30 religoulsy!! I have been using the Serum for about 2 weeks now and i have to say i love it!! First of all the smell is amazing and i love the texture of it not to thick at all just glides on to the skin. After application i have to say it really makes my skin shine and glow but not to shiney which is great. I stopped using my moisturizer in the morning and just used the serum and to see how it makes my skin look so healthy is amazing. I love the fact that it is so light it does not feel like you have put anything on your skin at all, unlike some moisturizers which can be quite thick. Its a very handy size bottle to, love the design of it. I will definately be using this product in the future and would highly recommend it to friends, thanks again mummy pages x

I love the packaging of Idealia, especially the bottle. I felt it could do with a leaflet though as the box looks crowded with all the info in different languages and also, nowhere does it say how often to apply Idealia (I chose twice a day), which age group it’s most suitable for and whether it’s for face, neck and chest or just the face.
The serum has a lovely light floral scent and feels very silky and pleasant to apply. It’s quite light in texture and sinks in well but is also quite moisturising. My skin feels immediately soft after applying and looks radiant thanks to the lovely iridescent sheen to the cream. I usually use a moisturiser and BB cream but didn’t feel the need to moisturise after Idealia (though I did use night cream).
It says that it works after 8 days of use and I definitely found that to be the case. Before use my main skin concerns were – fine lines, open pores, puffiness/loss of definition. I turned 40 this year and was starting not to recognise the old crone in the mirror! I don’t smoke and use SPF but my diet could be better and I never get enough sleep. To be honest, I didn’t see any difference in my fine lines or open pores but I do think my skin tone is slightly more even (my husband said that my skin looks “cleaner”!!). I definitely think that, overall, my skin does look more rested, younger even. There’s less puffiness and my jaw-line has re-appeared somewhat. I was even asked if I had lost weight (sadly-no!).
Although in terms of lines and wrinkles Idealia doesn’t have the dramatic effect that I have seen with other, costlier serums, I definitely found it very good in terms of overall improvement and would recommend it to friends. Idealia is a lovely product. I was thrilled to be picked to trial it and it didn’t disappoint.

Delighted to be picked for the Vichy Idealia Life Serum Trial !
I have used the Vichy tinted moisturiser before (not everyday!) so I knew I could expect a quality product.
I have always had sensitive skin which can also be quite dry. I find I dont have enough time to have the skin routine would like (like a lot of us !). So my skin can be dull and not look as well as it could do. Knowing my skin could be better didn't make me feel great about myself.
So when Mummypages were looking for people to try the serum I jumped at the cahnce ! The serum has a lovely light scent and it isnt sticky like I have found other serums to be. I used it after cleansing and I found I didnt need to use any moisturiser. I may need to when the winter really sets in, but for now I dont. I found the serum soaks into my skin well and doesnt leave it greasy looking.
I have found that my skin looks fresher and brighter and also smoother after only using it for just over a week. I feel happier and more confindent about my skin now. My skin is also more moisturised all day which is something moisturisers alone didnt do.
My friends have noticed the difference and tell me I look great and really healthy ! Even on a day after I got very little sleep during the previous night due to an unwell child !
I would certainly recommend this product and I will be going out to buy some more myself. I Love It !

Well was delighted to receive my vichy serum over a week ago. I have been using even day since and can honestly say I am very impressed with the results. I normally do not wear makeup and find at times my skin is not very even in colour but while using this product I could see a marked improvement in the texture and consistency of colour in my skin. I felt more confident while out doing daily tasks as I felt I looked better.
This product really suited my skin (I also have sensitive skin) and improved my complexion which in turn added to my self confidence.. I would recommend this product to any of my friends. I would give it a 4.5 out of 5.

I got a nice surprise when the serum arrived in the post as was expecting a small sample bottle. Instead I got a full size bottle, very generous!
I usually use a moisturiser and a specialist cream for the eye area and the wrinkles that peer back at me in the mirror every morning and evening! So, I decided to just use the serum to see its effects.
After 10 days, I did think there was a slight improvement in my complexion. I think I just looked fresher and my skin was less pallid and blotchy. Unlike other reviewers however nobody commented how well I looked ;)
While I don’t have overly sensitive skin, I find that I can have a slight reaction to some products. This was not the case with Vichy and I found it quite gentle.
The serum has a subtle smell, not too overpowering. It also has a light texture, non greasy, and goes on easily. I found I didn’t need too apply very much – so I reckon a 30ml bottle would last for quite some time.
The design of the packaging and bottle makes it look more luxurious and expensive that the price you pay for it (found it online for just under €29).
So, based on the price you could pay for a similar serum, I think it is quite good value and would consider buying it. I will certainly continue to use my trial bottle!

I've never really believed in all these lotions and potions - and my mum is forever telling me I need to use something, but I've never really bothered, this trial was perfect for me. I've got really 'weathered' skin - being out and about with the kids all the time will do that, and all I really us is sun screen and I never really worry about my face.
I've been trying the serum now for 2 weeks and I cannot believe it's actually made a difference. My face looks brighter and smoother just after this short time. The serum is really nice and easy to use, smells fab and it seems that it will last forever, a little goes a long way. My mum has noticed a difference in my skin, and after a told her what it was she has gone and bought herself a bottle too!!

I was absolutely delighted when I was chosen to be a part of the Vichy Idealia Life Serum tester panel, so that you Mummypages.
Firstly the packaging is very appealing and eye catching. The bottle is a lovely shape and the serum smells lovely. I was delighted that it was a full bottle and not just a small tester.
I don't have a skin routine but I religiously moisturise on a daily basis as I hate that tight feeling in my skin after i've had a shower in the morning. With two kids, the only time that I seem to wear make up now of days is on an occasion.
The serum itself has a beautiful pearlescent quality, a kind of peachy pinky glow. It goes on smoothly and glides over the skin. It left my skin feeling beautiful and even after the first couple of uses I noticed that my skin had a lovely sheen. I liked the fact that I didn't have to use my own moisturiser on after it, the serum itlself did the job. After a week of using the serum I could tell that it had improved my patchy skin, it had more of an even tone and looked great. I did have a few comments that I was looking well from my sister in law and my cousin which I was delighted with.
I have used the same face cream for over ten years now as I found that it went on well and had a nice thick consistence. I would never have thought changing it until I used the serum. I have recommended it to both family and friends and am going to go striaght out and buy another bottle of it once this one has run out.
Ten out of ten as far as I am concerned, the only thing that I would say is regarding an SPF, would this product be available with a SPF of 15 or more?

Thank you very much for choosing me to be part of this trial. I have to say I would def recommend this product. The serum is lovely to use. It goes on your skin so easy, feels velvety to the touch, smells devine and a little goes a really long way.
I was initally very sceptical, didn't notice much of a difference, but I have to say after approx a week in my skin definately feels different. Feels much more luxurious than my regular moisturiser. I would def recommend this to other very busy mums who don't have time to look after their skin, this little bottle of heaven looks after it for you.

Vichy Idealia Life Serum feedback

I have been using Vichy idealia serum for the past 2 weeks now and I have to say the difference to my skin is amazing. There seems to be an instant glow and plumpness immediately after use. After 5 children my skin wouldn't be in the best condition and I am prone to alot of spots around my chin but since using this I haven't had one spot! It also gives my face a waked up look from the moment its applied. The bottle is lovely and the pump action dispenser saves product and a little goes a long way, it's pleasant smelling too as strong smelling products give me headaches which is a plus. The price is excellent considering it actually does what it says on the bottle, more expensive products don't work half as well in my opinion. I will be recommending this to family and friends and I already have my mum converted I will also be buying more myself when I run out. An excellent trial to take part in thank you I will never use anything else on my skin :)

This is one of the best creams I have ever used! It has really made a diference and friends and family have noticed. I started using it the minute I got it (this mummy doesn't get many treats) - I don't normally use a lot of creams and potions, to be honest I'd never found one that I liked, or that made a difference. I use foundation every day, just a light covering. I now wear this serum underneath my makeup and it really makes it look great. The overall effect on my face over the last two weeks have been amazing. Even the hubby says so.
I know it sounds silly, but I even have more confidence. I feel I look better, which goes a really long way for a tired mummy like me.
Thanks so much for letting me take part, I would recommend this in a heartbeat to anybody else out there. Just try it for yourself.

Thank you so much for including me in this trial. Absolutely loved the product. I have noticed the difference in my skin. I have been using this product in the morning under my make up, and it gives my skin a lovely glow and a great base for my makeup. Loved the packaging, and felt like a real luxury product when applied to the skin. Really delighted and would definetly purchase again. :-)

I recieved the Vichy Idealia Life Serum a while back and have been using it since. I have 3 young children and have gone from wearing full make up to not even having the time to put on face cream. Also having spent time in australia i found my skin lacking. I had pigmantation and some dry areas just felt dull.
After using this product now i MAKE time for it every day it feels so light nice soft smell and has done wonders for my skin. I feel brighter in every sence of the word! My mum wants to rob it and friends what to know what im doing. The small bottle with pump is very easy to use, store and transport to me that is important. Normally when i try somting new on my face i get a bad break out this has not been the case with this product and i could not be happier
I will deffintaly continue using Vichy Idealia apart from cleaning my face with water and the odd time putting on make up this is all i use.
