I was delighted to be chosen to take part in this trial as I would be a big proponent of serums, now that I’m nearing the end of my thirties. In the past I have used Clinique and Trilogy so I have something to compare this product to. I have heard of Vichy of course and see them in the pharmacy all the time but have never tried any of their products. I have a sister who is a big fan of theirs so I was interested to try this out.

With regard to my skin, it definitely suffers from being dull and lifeless. I am prone to the odd breakout and it has red undertones which affects the overall look. I have an underactive thyroid, thanks to my 3 pregnancies and that can affect your skin and hair. I am generally tired, all the time, thanks again to my 3 children and that definitely has an effect on the skin.

So, the product, was it any good? I would say, over all, yes. It smells beautiful, probably the nicest smelling product I have on my counter of creams and lotions. It’s also paraben free which is a huge plus. And until the medical/health/beauty industries decide where they stand on parabens and whether they’re carcinogenic or not, I definitely want to try to use paraben free products. It’s amazing how many products they’re in when you start looking at ingredients.

It goes on very nicely and absorbs into the skin pretty quickly. There’s no hanging around waiting to put on your moisturiser if you’re in a rush. And it definitely makes the skin look smoother and more refreshed once it’s on. There’s also a softness that I’ve noticed, I think I look slightly more youthful after application than prior to. It’s not going to turn back time of course, but it does soften the lines slightly and take away any harshness to the skin. And I had no reaction at all, not that I was expecting one but I suppose you never know.

All in all I like this product however I wouldn’t say I love it. Having used the Clinique serum quite a bit before, it didn’t give me the same results. However the Clinique serum is pretty pricey and there are times when I just can’t afford it. At those times I would definitely consider buying the Vichy one. It’s in and around €28 for 30 ml which is not extortionate by any means. It absolutely makes the skin look better so if you’re looking to incorporate a serum into your skincare regime, I would absolutely recommend this one.

Firstly, I am a mom of 4- the youngest is 13 weeks- so as many of you can imagine, I am exhausted and you could definitely see it in my skin. It was so dry and no amount of sloughing away the dead skin and slapping on moisturiser was helping.
I worked in pharmacy years ago so was very familiar with the Vichy brand, regularly using the cleansers, moisturisers and sun care. The packaging of the Idealia Life Serum is really feminine- lovely bottle, definitely happy leaving this out on the dresser. As a serum, I was expecting a clear kinda gel? but this is a lovely, opalescent colour and light creamy texture. It is absorbed quickly into the skin and doesn't feel sticky.
So far my skin feels better and I think it looks brighter, my pores in my t-zone don't seem as obvious. Overall I am really happy with this serum and think I will purchase it when this one runs out.

I know Vichy products well so I knew that, if I had the chance to be selected for the trial, I would be on for a treat. I don't know why but I was expecting a sample size, worth 8days of application so I was so happy when I saw the full size bottle, looking really snazzy, elegant and pink. I tried it straight away and I loved the texture, light, not greasy, lovely. My skin is...dry? Very dry? Patchy? Red in places? ...let's say unloved. I used to take care of my skin, when I had the means and the time, going for one of my favourite brand (a French one, mais bien sûr), a 3 figure cream, oh so worth it! Now, I don't have the means, nor the pretention, my life has changed for the better and the reason is a 2 years old who is presently trying to climb on my back. I was over the moon when, just after 2 applications, the Vichy Idealia Life Serum was as good as my previous posh and over priced cream! My skin was craving the TLC and I looked more refreshed day after day. I don't know why I don't use day creams and night creams anymore as it only takes 5 seconds. Will I recommend it to a friend? Well, I started by my sister and then I spread the word at work! Love it! Thank you so much for allowing me to take part of this trial and finally start to take care of my skin again!

This was my first time using any Vichy brand products and I tried Vichy
Idealia Life Serum for 2 weeks. I was looking for a new product to use
and looks like I have found one I will be gladly using also in the
future. I am over 30, very happy mum, working part time, having healthy
lifestyle, looking after my body and still - my face skin constantly
needs some extra care even if I am using very good face creams.

So I got my hands on Vichy Idealia Life Serum and was pleasantly surprised by
the result already after the first few days of using it. I used serum
twice a day - in the morning and evening, it has a lovely soft-silky
texture, beautiful, fresh but not strong scent, skin absorbs it straight
away and I found it very attractive that the product is paraben free
which is very important when I choose my skincare products.

After 2 weeks of using the serum I really do find that my skin is much healthier
looking and radiant, so you get what you are promised! Also because
serum contains nutrients that get to the deeper layers of your skin
where cream can't reach and therefor is much richer, I would probably
consider using it only once a day so I will try it this way over next
few weeks.

Definitely will recommend it also to my friends & family
as a must-have in their daily skincare routine.

Thank you guys so much for letting me trial this product. Amazing is all I can say. After what I can only describe as a hellish 3 months or more my skin was less than glowing by miles. The effects of the summers beautiful sunshine along with stresses of moving, tragedy and bereavement had left my skin in a terrible state. Dull, lifeless and a complete shambles. Thinking all was lost when this little pink bottle came along to brighten my face and give me the boost that was needed. I have been using the product for almost 2 weeks once a day simetimes with makeup mostly without. My face has an even complexion which I havent seen in many a day. Gone is the patchy washed out uneven appearance and in comes a youthful glowing face. As for makeup I wanted to wear it for the first time in ages as it looked so professionally done thanks to the wonderful canvas underneath. Serum is so light and absorbed really well. Trilled to get a chance to review this Vichy product. My first moisturiser and tinted moisturiser was Vichy. Its a brand I would associate with quality.
The first day I used the serum, I felt it made a huge difference, but having tried it every day since, I havnt noticed a huge difference in my skin.. I had to use a good moisturiser with it, not a problem but it did improve the finish of the foundation when I used the serum. it gave a lovely soft finish and it is very comfortable on the skin. It blends in to the skin so beautifully. I will continue to use the serum and would recommend it to a friend. It is beautifully packaged too.

I was really thrilled to take part in this trial. My skin is tired from years of neglect so it was a great opportunity to and catalyst for making a step change.
I wear makeup every day and am familiar with Vichy having seen it in the chemist. I have bought and used the Vichy eye makeup remover (which by the way is really good and not drying at all like other eye makeup removers). I applied the serum each day for 10 days wanting to really give it a proper trial but I didn’t need to wait that long to see an effect. Within a day or two, my skin had dramatically improved in radiance - that sounds a little clichéd but it’s true. My skin absorbed the serum which was really easy to apply. You aren’t left with any slimy residue like other products and it smelt great too.
My skin glows under my makeup – it is normally dull but it had a glow about it even with my Mac makeup over it. And people have said it to me too remarking that I look rested.
I’m delighted with that as no one has given me a compliment in years! I would definitely recommend it to a friend and if cash is tight, I’d recommend it for any present list.

Let me just start by saying I LOVE this serum. It really is the best stuff I have ever ever tried.
As soon as I got it in the post, I wanted to try it out (to be honest, I was a little reluctant to believe it would be as godd as it claims, but oh my ... it was that and then some. I tried it over about 6 days, and the improvement in my appearnce was completely noticeable. I wear make up every day (wouldn't like to scare anybody with my non make up face lol ) so I really didn't think it would even show if i used this, but it does. I've mixed skin, and my nose tends to get really oily, but the rest ofo my faces just normal. The serum actually evened out my face completely, and i feel the serum has helped my face stay fresh and my make up stays on longer.
This is now my new favourite go to serum and I have been telling ALL my friend s about it. Thanks millions and squillions for letting me take part. My Vichy serum is a keeper and will definitely be buying it again. And again.

Thank you sooooo much for picking me to take part in this trial. It's so lovely to get something that is really and truly just for Mum! I've tried the serum now for just over a week and I'm really enjoying it. It's lovely and light, it's really smoothe and silky and I find it easy to use every day. It smells gorgeous too.
I don't wear a lot of makeup, but I always wear something during the day, and the Vichy serum is perfect -- it keepes my skin balanced and protected. And it also ads the very slightist tint to my face too.
My sister and mum have both commented on the difference it has made. And they both want to try it now too.

Wow, What a Fantastic Product. The Vichy Idealia Serum not only smells lovely but when applied to the skin it glides across the skin so smoothly giving a refreshing feeling all round. The Vichy serum relinquishes an intense gratifying experience on my skin. I have been using this product for about ten days now, applying it morning and evening and under make-up, I have noticed an immense diference in my skin in this time and I have also received many complaintments from various people ( including my doctor) over the course of the last few days on the way I look. I was very sceptical about this product when i signed up for the trial, but i was quite surprised when i received a bottle of the sample in the post - i was expecting a smaller sample bottle, My Experience with the Vichy Idealia Serum has been very unexpected and surprising, I have never used a vichy product before but I will continue to use The Vichy Serum as part of my Daily Beauty Regime and I will be recommending this Serum to my Friends and Family - with the I have been compliments receiving it wouldnt be conceivable if I didnt authenticate this product for it enhancing qualities and transforming appearance to my skin - Thank You to the Mummy Pages for selecting me for this Trial and a Big Thanks You to Vichy for This Wonderful New Serum

ok so ive been using this serum for 2 wks and what a difference ive noticed , it has a smooth silky lightweight texture that really feels reshreshing , i have quite sensitive skin and would usually breakout at the mere mention of a new product for my face but id no reaction at all to this serum . I use it twice a day and its works wonders as a base to my makeup as it gives me a flawless finish no shine and pores kept to a minimum . I would definitely recommend this product as well as the other Vichy products i use as they do exactly as they promise :)

i have to say i was very surprised how good i feel using vichy idealia life serum. i had my baby three months ago and looked so tired and weary . my skin was extremely dry and tired. since using it i have gotten alot of compliments on how my skin looks great . it also feels so much smoother . i also wore it under my make up on a night out as a primer and my make up went on so much better. and again got alot of compliments on how well i was looking after having my baby . to be honest it has given me a lovely boost that i needed . i really will keep using this moisturiser for the compliments alone its really worth it :) and if anyone would like to give me a few more bottles i would so take them :) thanks again for allowing me to do this trial x

Loved the packaging, excited to be part of the trial, great results

Day 1: lovely scent, light on your skin, absorbs very quickly. Had to resist the the urge to apply more
day 2: already noticed smoother, softer skin. Continued to use my normal moisturiser but noticed makeup appeared flawless. Have always had problematic skin, experiencing acne well in my 20s, but experienced no negative reaction to this product.
End of week 1: pores were noticeable reduced- fantastic.
End of week 2: noticed people had stopped saying i looked tired.

I was delighted to try the Vichy Serum as my skin looked very tired and drawn. I have never used Vichy before even though I know the name. I loved the smell of it and it was very easy to put on, My skin definitely looks brighter and my spider veins have reduced and that is only after 2 weeks of using it. My skin feels softer and I definitely have less pores around my nose. I will definitely recommend this to a friend and continue using it myself. So thank you Vichy for inventing this serum and mummy pages for choosing me for the trial.
