Imagine, if, after all these years, we finally got the Friends reunion movie we always yearned for?
When a video went viral over the weekend - clocking up over three million views already - of a supposed trailer for a Friends movie, the Internet went into overdrive.
However, the joy was short-lived as it was quickly realised that the cleverly made 'trailer' was, in fact, a hoax.
It contained various footage of the cast’s acting exploits since leaving the show - neatly spliced together - creating a makeshift plot that involved Monica and Chandler divorcing (nooooo!), Rachel getting a job as a therapist and Joey now being an award-winning actor (a lovingly done stretch, granted).
The reaction on Twitter, was naturally, classic:
They’re making a friends MOVIE!! I’m crying pic.twitter.com/b7ZKYt2z2y
