No doubt you will remember all the hubbub of those Jennifer Aniston pregnancy rumours, and the endless mileage they gave the gossip columns.

Well, as you can imagine, it was no easy time for the star, who has opened up about seeing her tummy ‘red arrowed’ in paparazzi photos.

Appearing on The Ellen Show, the 47-year-old recalled the hysteria that prompted her powerful essay, For The Record, in the Huffington Post.

“We were mobbed, a scary kind of mobbed. We didn’t know what was happening. I kept thinking, is Kim Kardashian behind me or something?” she admitted.

“I was just fed up with it. And I think these tabloids…All of us need to take responsibility on what we ingest into our brains,” she added.

Touching on her July article, in which she refused to be ‘whittled down to a sad, childless human’, Jennifer urged people to ignore the objectification of the tabloids.

“Just because we’re women: we have a uterus, we have a vagina, we have ovaries, [it’s like] we need to ‘get to work'. We, as women, do a lot of incredible things in this world other than just procreate…We just get boxed-in,” she said.

We’re sure there are plenty of women out there who can relate to Jennifer’s point of view and will LOVE her latest rallying call.
