As more and more women try to juggle work and home life, they are struggling to enjoy any ‘me time’ with many admitting there isn't enough hours in the day to keep fit or be with family and friends.

The results from the survey conducted by Pharmaton, showed that squeezing ‘me time’ into a hectic week is becoming increasingly difficult for Irish professionals, particularly those balancing work and family commitments.

It also discovered that women are busier than men during the week, expending an average of 15% more energy than their male counterparts.

Unfortunately, just under half of the respondents admitted they feel totally stretched and would like to indulge in some well-deserved time to themselves.

And while family and work responsibilities top the agenda for both Irish male and female professionals, keeping fit emerged as the number one priority for those in need of more ‘me time’, with 45% expressing their desire to exercise more.
