So it's no surprised professional momager, Kris Jenner, is so vocal in the aftermath of her eldest daughter's seperation from partner of nine years, Scott Disick.
Opening up about the dissolution of Kourtney's longterm relationship with the New York- native, Kris heaped praise upon the famous mum-of-three and insisted her approach to the situation should be admired.
Kourtney, who welcomed a third child into the life she shares with son, Mason, and daughter, Penelope,less than a year ago, is currently navigating the painful aftermath of her decision in the glaring media spotlight.
Complimenting her daughter's attitude in the face of adversity, Kris, who is due to become a grandmother for the fifth time later this year, told Haute Living: "She's kind of my hero right now. She makes good decisions."
Paying tribute to her as a mum, Kris continued: "She always puts her children first and is accepting, loving and dedicated to her family. She doesn't get easily ruffled."
Admitting that her daughter's resilience had astounded her, the LA-based businesswoman gushed: "This situation has made me realise how strong she is."
We're sure Kourtney, who has made no secret of the sometimes tumultuous nature of their relationship, will be grateful for her mum's kind words at this difficult time.
