Myleene Klass recently blasted mums for sending a party invite which asked for money as gifts, and it seems another demanding one has been sent - this time to those invited to a first birthday party.

The invite email, which was posted to Reddit by user razz23, outlined what the parents wanted for their child; from a play tunnel to a Fill in the Missing Cheerios book, the writer even gives links to where the gifts can be bought.

The letter goes on to request receipts with presents not on the list so they will get a full refund if they need to bring them back: “When we return items without receipts, we only get about 50% of the value, so it is like throwing away money if you don’t include a receipt with the gifts."

Not surprising, commentators under the post have not been holding back on their thoughts of the invitation, with one writing: “I would buy the loudest nosiest toy possible and give it to the kid [sic]”.

However, not everyone thought the invite was rude or demanding, saying: “The super optimist in me believes she’s writing to relatives who smother with countless frivolous gifts [sic]”.

What do you think of the invite – a good idea or too demanding?
