Hollywood actor Sam Worthington and model Lara Bingle are expecting their first child, according to an inside source.
Sam, known for his lead roles in the films Avatar and Terminator Salvations, was born in Godalming, Surry, before moving to Perth in Australia.
He starred mostly in low budget indie films before securing the lead role in the record-breaking CGI blockbuster Avatar, playing Jake Sully.
Sam and Lara, an Australian model, have been dating for a year and recent speculation that the couple were expecting appears to have been confirmed.
After being spotted with a small bump, a friend confirmed to Australian magazine Women’s Day that the 27-year-old model was pregnant with her first child.
“All her friends are talking about it, and Sam and Lara couldn't be happier,” they said.
It’s a busy time for the happy couple, as Sam is currently filming Avatar 2, sue to hit cinemas in 2016. They recently returned from a ‘baby-moon’ holiday in Sam’s Hawaiian holiday home last month.
