A woman who is six months into her pregnancy has faced criticism from radio listeners after she revealed that she uses the dating app, Tinder.

The woman, who is named Caitlin, is a Tinder veteran, and explained that she uses the dating app to meet guys.

In a phone interview with Aussie radio show  Mike E & Emma the topic of the day was "Am I a bad person?"

The expectant mum rang in to find out if she was actually doing anything wrong by Tinder-dating this far into her pregnancy or were her "judgey" friends just being too conservative.

"I don't necessarily tell the guys on Tinder that I'm pregnant," she admitted. "I certainly don't keep it from them, obviously when we meet up they can see that I'm pregnant, but they think that by not telling them that I'm a bad person," said Caitlin.

"If you're single then just because your pregnant why can't you meet other people?" asked the male show host.

Caitlin is separated from the baby's father and questions why she can't look for a partner.

"I still need love too," she said.

When asked what her dates' reactions are: "It is definitely a shock to people I guess" she admits.

Host Emma wasn't impressed with the mum-to-be's actions, saying "if she is looking for love, which it sounds like she is, then it’s not really going to happen for her”.

Caitlin faced a wave of criticism following the interview, with callers condemning her actions as "selfish."

"You have to keep it in perspective," said one caller.

"You have to focus on being healthy and focusing on the priority that's in your tummy."

Caitlin defended herself, saying she is “doing all the right things and making sure health is a priority” but still wants to have a life outside of being a pregnant woman.
