Swedish police got more than they bargained for when a call-out to a house resulted in them giving tutoring lessons!

According to reports today, an 11-year-old boy became scared when, alone at home, he heard a loud thump upstairs.

Thinking that it was an intruder after breaking into his house, the boy called the police to come around and check it out.

After finding no traces of a break-in, the police decided to stay with the young boy until his parents came home – and he made use of the extra adult supervision.

According to the report from the police, the boy had been having difficulties with his maths homework, and the kind officers took it upon themselves to give him a helping hand!

Viktor Adolphson of the local police force said: “He had called his mother also but he was on his own when the police got there and they didn’t want to leave him alone. So they sat down and helped him with his multiplication tables and other homework.”

The poor little guy – he must have been terrified. It’s good to know that the Swedish police are on-hand to help with absolutely any query a member of the public may have!
