It looks like pregnancy, newborns and post-birth issues are the main concerns for reality TV family, the Kardashians, at the moment.

With older sister Kourtney having recently given birth and taken to social media to speak out about the benefits of placenta pills, it looks like 34-year-old mum-of-one Kim is keen to give one-year-old daughter North a baby brother or sister.

Unfortunately however, the reality star is having trouble conceiving. saying: "It's more challenging to get pregnant the second time around. When you're not planning it, it happens. It's just how God works. And when you want it so bad, it's not happening."

It has been reported that Kim and Kanye are considering using a surrogate to ensure they can add to their family, but recent speculation suggests that there may be another reason Kim might opt for surrogacy.

A source close to the couple revealed: "Kim will use a surrogate because she doesn't want to have huge weight gain as she did while pregnant with North."

Kim has made no secret of the fact she found pregnancy extremely difficult, having suffered various health complications while expecting North, and even suggested at numerous points in her pregnancy that she wouldn't be able to go through it again.

We wish her all the best with her plans.
