After weeks of waiting for Kate to go into labour, events suddenly began to fly with the Duchess arriving at St Mary’s Hospital at 6:00am on Saturday morning after going into labour and then giving birth to a little girl a few hours later at 8:34am.
In the initial announcement from Kensington Palace, we were told the little girl weighed 8lbs 3oz and now we finally have the name!
Kate and William decided to call their new princess, Charlotte Elizabeth Diana.
We love it!

Betting odds were favouring Alice or Charlotte, with many others hoping the couple would go with Diana.
Members of both Kate and William's family were spotted at Kensington Palace yesterday, each one looking delighted at the prospect of meeting the adorable little girl. Royal sources said the couple was waiting until the Queen met her great-granddaughter and was told her name in person before making the announcement.
Obviously we're looking forward to catching another glimpse of the little cutie and to see their first appearance as a family of four, but for now, we really hope Kate and Wills savour this very special time.
