Social media is positively awash with footage of talented children or images of adorable toddlers, but it looks like there's one little boy who is currently stealing the show online.

At just 20 months old, Jack Clayton has the world in the palm of his hand with his winning smile and impish attitude - attributes his proud parents were only too keen to share with internet users all over the world.

The captivating toddler, who happens to have Down's Syndrome, has captured the hearts of social media users who follow a Facebook and Twitter account entitled 'Our Son Jack'.

Lawrence and Nici Allen, keen to dispel the rumour that the syndrome defines the individual, established the accounts in order to spread the important message.

Explaining the motivation behind their son's social media presence, Lawrence said: "He isn’t a Down’s Syndrome baby, he is Jack first and foremost. That’s just one element of his life. We want to bring disability to the forefront of social media so that people can see this for themselves."

Opening up about the lead-up to their son's highly-anticipated arrival in October 2013, Nici explained: "We already knew the possibility of Down’s Syndrome was higher because of my age, and we accepted that."

The couple's approach to their son's condition can be clearly seen in the collection of photos regularly uploaded to their social media accounts, with Lawrence confirming: "We wanted to take a very positive attitude to being a family living with Down’s Syndrome and make it all about Jack and who he is, not just his disability."

The family's depiction o
f Down's Syndrome has done much to dispel certain stereotypes surrounding the condition, while Jack's winning smile is a daily pick-me-up for his 12,000 loyal followers.

What an adorable little boy!
