The couple lost their baby boy at 32 weeks back in August and Ben says Marina was “within 20 minutes of death” during the harrowing time.
Ben told The Sun the pain of almost losing his wife was a “huge bolt” for him: “For her to come within 20 minutes of dying was a huge bolt for me and was so terrifying I can’t even explain it. The thought of life without her was unbearable.”
The presenter also said that the family now live life even more for their little boy who didn’t make it: “There’s a little boy we never got to know and if there’s anything we owe him in getting so close to have met him, and yet so far, it’s to live life even more for him.”
Ben and Marina also have two other children Ludo and Iona.
