In a recent interview with Vogue Italia, rapper Nicki Minaj revealed that she intends to leave the music industry to become a full-time mum. Commenting on her choice she says: “I gave myself a time limit to reach my professional goal. I don't want to work my whole life without ever experiencing the joys of a family.”The controversial singer is not, however, making her departure any time soon. Not least until she “earns five hundred million dollars and leaves a permanent mark on the world of music.” Oh, OK. So we can expect more anaconda-based raps before she disappears into the world of nappies and nap-times, then!
The thirty-one-year old star goes on to say that family has always been important to her. She says: “that is why I want to wait until the right moment before starting my own. Right now I am too busy, but at a certain point the situation will change.”
Certainly seems like Ms. Minaj knows exactly what she wants from life!
