We often hear stories of babies being left on doorsteps or in churches, but we rarely hear any follow-up.

Where did these kids end up? And who did they grow up to be?

But for one woman her full story is now being shared with the world after she was reunited with the man who found her 20 years ago in a dumpster.

According to reports, Gerald Rocky Hyatt, a Chicago construction worker, was making a drop off when he heard whimpering coming from a dumpster.

When he looked in the bin he found a knotted bag with a newborn baby girl inside.

Gerald rushed the baby to a nearby hospital where the nurses named her Mary Grace.

As always happens with these stories, the little girl had her few weeks of fame before the world moved on.

She was then adopted and her name was changed to Morgan Hill.

Her adoptive mother, Sandi, kept a folder of newspaper clippings which documented Morgan’s story.

And two years ago her mother shared that story of the man who found her in a bin bag and saved her life.

After hearing the story Morgan was determined to find Gerald who she called her “guardian angel”.

The pair were finally reunited 20 years later, and, thankfully, the emotional moment was caught on camera.
