No one questions things more than our little tots. Sometimes life would be easier if your child would just listen to you, but let’s face it, it would be more boring that way too. Here are some of the most common phrases that you will probably hear from your little one.

Are we there yet?
It doesn’t matter if they’ve only been in the car for half an hour, they will always think by constantly drumming this phrase, they will arrive at their destination faster.

Just joking
Our little ones are rascals, that’s for sure. They certainly like to test the limits with you, often for no reason at all. When they realise they’re about to get in big trouble, they think they can soften the blow with this phrase. They're usually right too.

But why?
There is a reason for everything and don’t underestimate your pre-schooler’s ability to be quite philosophical. Your child will demand answers for everything and we mean everything. There are no “that’s just the way things are” answers. No, your child wants a proper explanation. Prepare yourself for various questions, which include; “why is the sky blue” to “why is that man dressed that way?” Your child will ask and won’t give in till they get a good explanation.

Mum, Mum, Mum
Being a mum is never easy and will most certainly test your patience. But nothing can be more irritating, than your child constantly calling you “mum”. If your child wants your attention, they will get it and don’t think that they will get tired of constantly repeating themselves, because they won’t.

But mum said/but dad said
Your child is smart and they know if there is one way to get what they want, it's by pitting their parents against each other. So sometimes, it’s best to check with your partner before listening to your child’s “story”, even if it is more entertaining.
