Santa arrived to Jervis Shopping Centre to collect a very special letter written to him by novelist Cecelia Ahearn and Barretstown campers Ella O’Keeffe and Ashleigh Kiernan.
Ella and Ashleigh’s brothers and sisters joined in to announce that Jervis Shopping Centre will make a €1 donation to Barretstown for every child that visits Santa in the centre. This will help raise much needed funds for this wonderful organisation.
Barretstown is a residential camp for kids affected by serious illness offering a range of adventurous and challenging activities. The camp is supported behind the scenes by safe, medical attention and care – always for free.
Santa will be in his grotto every day until Christmas Eve when he will get back on his reindeer-drawn sleigh for his annual gift drop for deserving children.
