Maison Hirstle was just four-years-old when he tragically passed away after his coat hood got caught on a door handle.
The youngster had been playing at his home in Yorkshire when the incident occurred; he was immediately knocked unconscious and oxygen was cut off from his brain.

His 16-year-old brother TJ found him and took him to his dad who began CPR straight away. They managed to get the four-year-old breathing again.
Sadly, however, despite the best efforts of paramedics and doctors at Scarborough Hospital little Maison was declared brain dead and his family were told to say their goodbyes.
Friend of the family Leanne White set up a JustGiving page in a bid to help raise enough money to be able to provide little Maison with a superhero headstone.

The target of £5,000 was reached within just 24 hours, and Leanne told the Yorkshire Post that the Hirstle family were “overwhelmed” by the public’s generosity.
“Maison was a happy little boy who did not deserve to be taken away from his family so please help to raise enough or some towards laying Maison - a little hero that was too good for this earth.”
