It has been announced this evening that actor Jude Law is to become a father for the fifth time.
The Sherlock Holmes actor is said to be expecting with his ex-girlfriend, Catherine Harding.
The actor’s representative confirmed the news to People tonight with a statement which read: “I can confirm that Jude Law and Catherine Harding are expecting a child together in the spring.”
The rep added: “Whilst they are no longer in a relationship, they are both wholeheartedly committed to raising their child. They consider this a private matter and other than this confirmation no statement will be made.”
The rep went on to ask the media and public to respect their privacy in the wake of the announcement.
Jude is already a dad to his three children with ex-wife Sadie Frost – Rafferty, Iris and Rudy – and another daughter, Sophia, with ex-girlfriend Samantha Burke.
