Listen, we admit that the last thing any of us want to do after a long day at the office is exercise.
But what if we told you that you could actually get your daily exercise done, without leaving the office?
Intrigued? Keep reading.
There are so many little ways you can keep active throughout your work day, so take note, and tell us what you think.
1. Leg raise
While at your desk, straighten one or both legs and hold in place for five or more seconds. Then lower the leg back to the ground without letting the feet touch the floor.
2. Take the stairs
We appreciate that stairs can be quite the ordeal, but they are a great way to get the muscles working and the blood flowing.
3. Bum squeeze
To start toning your bum, simply squeeze the buttocks, hold for 5-10 seconds, and release. Repeat until your meeting ends or the glutes tire.
4. Toe tapping
Embrace your inner Michael Flatley, and quickly tap your toes on the floor under your desk. It's an easy way to engage in some cardio.
5. Say a prayer
Seated upright with feet flat on the floor, bring the palms together in front of the chest and push both hands together powerfully until you feel the arm muscles contract. Namaste.
