Mayo and Dublin fans headed to Croke Park for the second time yesterday with one side coming out victorious.

With just one point to their advantage, Dublin became All-Ireland Football champions for the 25th time yesterday having beaten Mayo in what was an incredible game .

With Same Maguire spending another year in the capital, the Dublin team will be celebrating their victory with fans today with a homecoming parade in Smithfield Plaza.

Described as "a family friendly, alcohol-free event," the team will arrive to the city centre location at 4.30pm.

The homecoming will mark the second successive year the Dubs have celebrated such a victory after a cracking game.

"This is what football is about, the two teams bring out the best in each other," Philly McMahon said after the game.

We're sure the celebrations will be brilliant!
