Not only did yesterday see the very last Harry Potter book Harry Potter and the Cursed Child being released, it was also the birthday of Harry Potter AND J.K. Rowling.
And what do birthday mean? Presents of course!
However, we’re not sure how we would react if one of our kids gifted us with the same present that Joanne’s son bought her...
Taking to Twitter, the 51-year-old shared a picture of the “unacceptable gift” her 13-year-old son bought her.
Writing, “I think we can all agree that this is an unacceptable gift from a son to his mother on her birthday”, it is clear that the author was in a bit of a giddy mood yesterday.

She also got a pretty awesome looking birthday cake to celebrate not just her birthday but her very last ever installment in the Harry Potter series.

However, speaking at the Palace Theatre yesterday, the mum-of-three broke the hearts of fans all over as she said that said that the story was now over.
“[Harry] goes on a very big journey during these two plays and, then, yeah, I think we’re done,” Rowling said.
“This is the next generation, you know. So, I’m thrilled to see it realised so beautifully but, no, Harry is done now.”
