Congratulations are in order for Tom Fletcher on winning the Marvel Celebrity Dad of the Year 2014.
The McBusted star beat the likes of X Factor judge, Simon Cowell and last year’s winner, Mo Farah.
Tom’s baby, Buzz Michelangelo was born in March and is the first child for Tom and his wife, Giovanna.
The proud dad spoke about his delight at winning the award, saying: “It feels amazing being crowned Marvel’s Celebrity Dad of the Year. I feel very honoured, especially considering the competition I was up against. I apologise – sorry Simon Cowell and Mo Farah! ... I think it [fatherhood] requires a lot of super hero qualities. You have to be patient and quite strong, because I think it’s really important to be there for mum in the first few months.”
Tom won over the public with his daddy skills even before the birth of Buzz with a sweet video showing his wife’s growing belly, and then of course, the baby’s arrival.
