With Christmas just around the corner, the Santa Lists are starting to pile up and we are running ragged trying to make our children’s festive dreams come true.

A word of advice from another parent is always welcomed at this time of the year, and outraged mums and dads certainly haven’t held back when it comes to sharing their views on Bunchems.

Bunchems – consisting of plastic balls connected to create different shapes – are one of this year’s most popular toys. The reviews are in, however, are they are not positive.

According to reports from several outraged parents complaining on Amazon, the toys have been destroying little girls’ hair.

One disgruntled parent gave the toy a one-star rating on the site, describing it as “horrible, horrible, horrible”.

“I just spent the last TWO AND A HALF hours (absolutely, 100% not an exaggeration) attempting to remove 14 of these balls out of my daughter’s hair. Buy this toy for someone if you hate them or their child,” the outraged parent added.

Meanwhile, another mum added a shot of the full damage caused to her own little one’s hair – and, as you can see above, it is not pretty!

“These lovely things are called bunchems. She thought it would be smart to put them in her hair. Can I just say I’m glad it wasn’t my hair,” wrote Jaymee McKinnies.

Several other parents shared candid snapshots to the Amazon review page, and it’s enough to put anyone off adding this toy to the Christmas list this year!
