At least one person is reported to have died, with three more ‘critically’ injured in an accident at a theme park in Queensland, Australia today.
Police have confirmed that they are ‘managing a critical incident’ at the Dreamworld Theme Park, following a malfunction on a ride.

It is thought that the incident occurred on the popular Thunder River Rapids ride when a conveyor belt became stuck, leaving a number of people trapped.
Emergency services were contacted, and paramedics arrived on the scene shortly after, along with Fire and Rescue units.

A large section of the Dreamworld Theme Park has been shut down, with visitors being sent home following the terrifying incident.
No further information has been released as of yet, but we will keep you updated as the story develops.
