Our favourite doll Barbie has had many reincarnations down through the years and this is possibly the best one yet.

A savvy social media user has turned Barbie into a millennial mum with her own Instagram account and two adorable children named Kelly and Wyatt.

Just like many other mum bloggers, @Tiff_thebarbie and loyal partner Ken undergo the trials and tribulations of raising children, all documented on Instagram.

From pregnancy announcements, gender reveals, potty training and breaking up her kids’ fights, the account follows Barbie’s journey raising her little ones in true millennial fashion.

We particularly enjoyed the hilarious potty training efforts (we’ve all been there) and seeing Barbie rock a pregnancy bump for the first time ever.

While Barbie is known for being the epitome of perfection, hipster mum Barbie is a LOT more fun than her predecessor.

The account now has 84K followers, pretty impressive! Although the account is slightly satirical we can’t help but be drawn in by Barbie’s Insta adventures.

Just like any other mum, she’s plastered her bump with cocoa butter, changed dirty nappies and shared her attempts at “baby’s first messy meal” photos.

The anonymous genius behind Tiff’s adventures told Babble.com:  “I wanted to create a picture-perfect life with Barbie. When I started the account I wasn’t planning to give her such a fun life or family, I just kept getting ideas along the way!”

She also revealed what her favourite photo from mum Barbie’s Insta feed is.

“Right now it would be the picture of Tiff eating a bunch of snacks, with the Doritos spilled all over her shirt and her belly popping out. I had so much fun taking those pictures and I’m sure lots of pregnant women could relate to them”.

Another Barbie Insta account we love is @allthelittledolls. Creator and mum-of-two Betty Strachan thought Instagram would be a great way to educate people, particularly children about pregnancy and breastfeeding.

Taking old Barbie dolls, Betty is repainting them to represent real women and among them is a breastfeeding mother she likes to call “Mamas Worldwide Barbie”.

“I mimicked the positioning of a latched baby with an old figurine I had and called her the Mamas Worldwide Barbie,” the clever mum explained.

Breastfeeding Barbie was a huge hit among mums and Betty hopes she will educate children about breastfeeding also.

We think this is such a clever idea- what do you think mums?
