Raising a child is no walk in the park. Even the most organised parent will forget to pack the sports kit, arrive late for pick-up, and burn the dinner to cinders at some point or another. But, once you’re showing your child that you love them to bits, your minor failings can be forgiven, right?
That is message behind this heart-warming Whirlpool advert, which is currently doing the rounds online.
In it, a father shares snapshots of his day spent looking after his son, and it’s not all sunshine and rainbows. Sometimes he forgets to cut the crust off the sandwich; other times he can’t make it to that baseball game – life and human error sometimes get in the way of things.
However, this man makes sure that, every day, he lets his son known that he loves and cares for him by leaving little post-it notes with reminders and words of encouragement.
And while his little boy may not say anything, the gesture clearly does not go unnoticed, as you will see at the end of the advert.
