The author was inspired to start writing after the loss of his four-year-old son Adam in 2007 and wrote his first children’s book Before You Sleep to help keep the memory of Adam alive.  

 

After winning the Irish Children’s book of the year award in 2009, Bennett turned his attention to writing a series of Adam’s Adventure book.

 

Proceeds from the sale of the book will be donated to the Laura Lynn foundation.
