When our children are unwell, the doctors and nurses who treat them in their time of need can quickly become a second family.

Providing a support network for both us and our child, their unwavering optimism and encouragement cannot be underestimated.

One family who knows this all too well are the relatives of three-year-old Millie McColl who has been battling stage 4 Neuroblastoma since June 2015.

Having begun an intense programme of chemotherapy treatment at the New Royal Children's Hospital in Glasgow, the brave little girl proved that that the women who care for her are more than her nurses - they are her friends.

Performing Let it Go from box office hit Frozen, Millie and her five nurses proved that a singalong can do wonders for your spirits.

Millie's bravery was commended in the caption of the video which was featured on the 'Millie's Journey' Facebok page in recent days.

Paying tribute to the little girl, it read: "So this didn't quite go as I had pictured in my head but we all had fun and as always Millie is showing chemo won't bring her down!!"

With equal admiration for Millie's nurses, it continued: "I must thank the lovely girls from the night shift last night in schiehallion for being good sports and making Millie's day! You are all amazing!"

Take a look at this beautiful moment.
