England's Thames Valley Police have today appealed to the public for help in locating the perpetrator of a sexual assault on two young girls, at LEGOLAND in Windsor.

According to an official statement released on the website, two six-year-old girls were ‘touched inappropriately’ by a man on Thursday, 11th August.

The incident took place at Castaway Camp in Pirate Shores, at the theme park, between 12:15pm and 12:30pm.

The offender, who is not known to the victims, is described as a white man in his teens or early twenties. He was wearing dark-coloured slim-fit trousers, a dark T-shirt, and trainers at the time of the assault.

In the statement, Detective Inspector Penny Mackenzie appealed for potential witnesses to come forward.

“I would ask anyone who visited the LEGOLAND Windsor Resort yesterday, especially if you went to Castaway Camp in Pirate Shores, to check any photographs from your trip to see if you recognise anyone matching the offender,” she said.

Detective Inspector Mackenzie added: “I would like to reassure the local community and visitors to LEGOLAND that such offences are extremely rare and that we are working closely with LEGOLAND to identify the suspect.”
