Britney Spears’ generous donation of $1 million dollars is set to change the lives of many sick children. The popstar attended a very special ceremony at the Nevada Childhood Cancer Foundation on Saturday.
The Toxic singer admitted that it was a true honour to make such a huge impact in the Las Vegas community. She was a guest at the opening of the Nevada Childhood Cancer Foundation’s Britney Spears Campus.
She shared, “Honoured to be part of the grand opening of the new @nvccf campus today!!”
Britney’s donation will improve the lives of many children for years to come. As a mum-of-two, Britney understands how important the centre is, “This amazing facility is going to help so many people in need.”
Britney raised the hefty donation from the ticket sales of her Las Vegas residency. The Baby One More Time singer has been fundraising for the organisation since 2014.

She admitted that she was thrilled to be part of the momentous occasion, and her presence at the event was greatly appreciated.
According to People, CEO of the NCCF Jeff Gordon praised the singer, “We can't thank Britney enough being able to do this. We saw a side of Britney Spears that, so many people maybe don't have the opportunity to see. You realise what a special person Britney is.”
The facility wouldn’t be there without Britney’s immense generosity. The facility will help so many families whose children are suffering from cancer.
We know Britney for creating some of the biggest pop songs of all time, but what she has done to help the Nevada Childhood Cancer Foundation has made her a true hero.
Jeff Gordon added, “She’s an incredible performer, we know all that, but she does care and the more we’ve gotten to know her, the more grateful we’ve become to her, and the kids have adored her.”
Britney received a wave of support from her fans. They flooded her Instagram with supportive and adoring comments.
One fan commented, “You have a heart of gold Britney. Beautiful person inside and out.”
One man opened up about the impact the Britney Spears Campus will make. He shared a personal story with the star, “Thank you, Britney, for doing this. I lost my father and my sister for cancer. I know how much this thing can change and destroy life and family.”
He continued, “Thank you for this and thank you all, you are making the difference for the people.”
