Cameron Diaz is literally gushing all over her husband Benji Madden on Instagram and we are melting!
In a rare display of affection, the Bad Teacher actress wrote how she is so proud of her husband of a year, as she congratulated him on releasing his first album with band Good Charlotte in six years.
“I am so incredibly proud of his integrity as a human being.. But TODAY what I'm most proud of is his talent... his gift....” she wrote.
“Today his band @goodcharlotteband released their first album in 6 years #YouthAuthority .. What makes me even more proud is that he has released it on his own independent label MDDN... And it is so damn GOOOOOOOOD...[sic]”.
But it’s not just Cameron who is clearly still smitten with her other half; just recently, Benji was singing praise for now author, telling Newsweek that he is a “lucky guy”.
I'm proud of her because of what a light she is in a world where it would be so much easier to use that stage to promote products," Madden said. "But she's using that platform she has to share positivity. It's been one of the most inspirational things in my life watching a woman be so courageous...she's got so much integrity. I'm a lucky guy that I get to experience that."
The couple got married in January of last year after a nine month romance, with the 42-year-old saying she was so happy she held out for “Mr. Right”.
“We couldn't be happier to begin our new journey together surrounded by our closest family and friends,” Cameron and Benji, 37, said after they tied the knot.
