The Duchess of Cornwall was reminded of her step-grandson Prince George as she cuddled a poorly tot at a children's hospital in London.

Camilla had a cuddle with 10-month-old Maijed Dhaif on a visit to open the new Chelsea Children’s Hospital.

Holding little Maijed, who was born premature at 26 weeks, the Duchess was reminded of Prince William and his wife Duchess Catherine's new son.

"There we are, there we are," said the Duchess as she rocked him gently. "Holding him like this reminds me of George. They're about the same age."

Maybe the young Prince is fond of shiny things too, as baby Maijed made a grab for Camilla’s earring.

However, the 66-year-old royal, who has two children and five grandchildren, made light of the situation by telling staff not to worry as her earring was only a clip on.
