When you’re a single parent, you often carry the load of your responsibilities alone, and this can naturally create problems.
This was the case for a single mother-of-two recently, who found herself in a dilemma when her babysitter cancelled right before she was due to sit her last college final.
According to Buzzfeed.com, Monica Romero – who moved from South Korea to Kentucky – was studying to become an army officer, and had booked her babysitter weeks in advance so as to be prepared.
When the babysitter cancelled at the last minute, Monica had no other choice but to bring her little ones to college with her, and it proved difficult to keep them quiet and occupied.

Indeed, it’s likely that she feared for the worst when approached by her professor, Dr Daniel Krebs, but what he did next not only helped her out, but has also warmed the heart of people all over the world today.
According to a Facebook post written by Monica’s friend Victoria Henry, Dr Krebs said: “Go take your test. I’ll take care of this.”
As you can see from Victoria’s photo, Dr Krebs went on to stay with the tots, playing with them while their mother sat her exam in a focused environment.
“My heart is warm tonight,” said Victoria, describing the incident as ‘one of the most caring gestures of her college career’.
