Our thoughts and prayers are with a family in England today, in the wake of tragic news emerging from Cornwall.
According to reports, a man has died and a two-year-old is fighting for her life after being swept out to sea by a huge wave yesterday evening.
Statements released by Newquay rescue services claim that the pair were fishing on the rocks on Fistral Beach along with a woman, when the swell dragged them into the water.

A statement from the coastguard confirmed that the woman was saved first, with a lifeboat then being deployed for her husband and the child.
Once located, both were airlifted to Royal Cornwall Hospital where, sadly, the man was pronounced dead shortly after.
The little girl is said to be in a serious condition today.

An eye-witness speaking to The Mirror described the sea condition as ‘the biggest summer swell’ seen in the area in many years.
Our hearts go out to the family following their devastating tragedy, and this little girl will remain in our thoughts; we are wishing her a full and speedy recovery.
