In an attempt to copy the star's famous look, children and teens have taken part in the 'Kylie Jenner Challenge' which sees young people attempt to enlarge their lips with the help of household items.
Photographs of children sporting facial injuries as a result of the ill-advised online trend have been circulating on social media sites .
Kylie, who has always insisted her full lips are a result of clever makeup application, has denied she underwent surgery in order to perfect her pout.
Some of those who have taken part in the challenge have admitted they made a mistake, with one Twitter user posting: "Made my chin look like a hickey a week ago and I'll say I've never felt so dumb #kyliejennerchallenge."
We sincerely hope those considering taking part in the online craze recognise the dangers involved and opt out of the challenge.
