Christmas is all about children, and nowhere will this be more evident than the Delta Centre in Carlow on December 12th this year.

In the only event of its kind in Ireland, the Delta Centre and Gardens Experience will be offering children with special needs, autism and sensory disorders the chance to enjoy the festive season with the help of specially-designed areas dedicated to seeing, hearing, smelling and touching.

Offering an oasis of peace and tranquility to families eager to embrace the full spirit of Christmas, Carlow's Delta centre is an opportunity to watch your child bask in the wonder of the festive season while having their all-important needs catered to.

The interactive attraction, which boasts a unique sensory garden for children with disabilities as well as incredible water features bound to delight the entire family, is, however, just one of the many festivities scheduled in Carlow this Yuletide season!

From Duckett’s Grove Christmas Fair and Fireworks Spectacular to a Reindeer Ramble to Culinary Experience and magical Christmas light display, Carlow is certainly the place to be as we prepare for the wonder that is December 25th!

Commenting on the impending celebrations, Council’s Head of Enterprise, Kieran Comerford, explains: “Christmas in Carlow is set to be a fantastic success. Carlow truly embraces the Christmas spirit and ensure that anyone who visits will be enthralled by all events and activities Carlow has to offer.

We know where we'll be heading over the coming weeks and you can find out more here!
