Anyone who has multiple kids will be well used to the idea of hand-me-downs and for this mum, it’s no different.

Claire McCormack from Douglas in Cork is the proud mum of three girls - 14-year-old Chloe, 10-year-old Cara and six-year-old Kate.

And, as anyone who had a big sister growing up can attest, the younger sibling was always doomed to get the clothes that would no longer fit the older one.

While it makes perfect sense from a parents’ point of view, kids can be a little picky.

That’s why Claire always tried to hide the truth from her youngest Kate by telling her all her clothes came from a local boutique cryptically called L’attic.

Well, on her sixth birthday mum decided she was old enough to know the truth, telling Kate that L'attic was actually a glamorous name for the attic.

And thankfully, she filmed the big reveal.

The simplest acts of kindness can make the world of difference for a person, and this has been proven by the following post, from the States.

Angela Byrd was a passenger on a flight from Minneapolis to Atlanta recently, when she witnessed something truly heart-warming.

In a post to a community Facebook page, GAFollowers – Everything Georgia, Angela revealed that a pregnant mum who was travelling alone on the flight was having difficulties with her young son, who was ‘upset and fussy’.

Just when the mum was really struggling, a man came along to lend a helping hand.

“He told her he was a DAD, and wanted to help her so she could rest. He walked the aisle most of the flight from Minneapolis to Atlanta comforting this woman’s son as if he was his own,” wrote Angela.

She then shared a photo of the kind father comforting the little one in the aisle of the plane, admitting she was ‘in tears’ over the scene.

“It showed me today that there are still GOOD people out there in a world full of turmoil,” she added.

It’s not hard to see why the image and story have touched hearts all over the world.
