Coronation Street star, Jennie McAlpine, has opened up about finding out the sex of her baby.
The soap star was speaking at the British Soap Awards on Saturday night when she revealed that she is going to keep the baby’s gender a surprise: “I’m happy to have a boy or a girl. We’ll keep it a surprise.”
Jennie also joked that although they won’t be calling the baby Fiz, after her character on the soap, she would consider Chesney: “I probably won’t call it Fiz. It might get a bit confusing. But maybe Chesney, we’ll see.”
The soap star announced her pregnancy last Wednesday with a Tweet that read: “We have some news to share. Chris and I are expecting an addition to our family. Very happy x.”
This will be the first baby for Jennie and her partner, Chris Farr.
