However, while some things pose quite an obvious safety hazard to your children, you might be surprised by some of the other dangers lying around your house.
This has been captured perfectly in a new advert by washing detergent brand Tide, warning parents of the dangers of everyday items in the home.
In the video, a child can be seen crawling around a living room, and the viewer is then given five seconds to try and spot the 11 household hazards on display in the room.
While some of the hazards are quite obvious, others are not, and you might be surprised to learn what can actually pose a threat to your child’s health and safety.
