This dad has had a firsthand experience of how being a stay-at-home parent is not easy.
Blogger, known as Daddy Fishkins, couldn’t wait to start being a stay-at-home dad, as he says: “I thought it would be a breeze and I’d get things around the house on a better, more efficient system.”
However, the blogger has now issued an apology to all stay-at-home mums after his experiences, which he says: “I thought it would be easy ... I thought I could carry on the momentum to keeping the house clean, doing laundry, and having dinner on the table when my wife got home from work ... I was able to do this for about a week, and now, looking back I’m not entirely sure how it lasted as long as it did.”
The dad’s hilarious account of being a stay-at-home dad will make you laugh as he describes the challenges of getting his wife and son out the door and looking after his two little girls.
The enlightened dad wrote: “I sincerely apologise to any and every I’ve ever said anything negative about, or joked about in regards to being a stay at home mom. It’s not easy. In fact it’s the hardest job I’ve ever had. Sure it has it’s moments, but it is a very challenging, very stressful job .”
