A clip has surfaced of Roy Williams Jnr attempting to run over the teens he believed were teasing the 13-year-old girl.
The alleged bullying began after his daughter got into fight with another girl in the group and Mr Williams arrived at the scene to confront the teenagers. According to Nathan Velez who was present at the time, Mr William’s daughter got into a "little fight with this other girl and hit her".
When Mr Williams showed up, the teens began running and that’s when the 56-year-old got into his car and tried to run the group over.
The video has gone viral since Nathan Velez posted the footage online.
"[Williams] came around this way where everyone was running to and he went down that way and reversed and that's when he drove onto the grass," said Nathan.
Mr Williams is currently in custody after being charged with aggravated assault with a vehicle and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
