Hello, Reader. My name is Docter* Noel Zone and I am a Dangerologist…

Danger is Everywhere is a child’s handbook for surviving the world and becoming a dangerologist, just like the book's narrator, Docter (his spelling) Noel Zone.

Docter Zone wants your child to know just how much danger is out there. And he should know; he was a lifeguard until he realised how dangerous water was and drained the entire pool.

Even reading Danger is Everywhere could be dangerous, with the cover warning that you should never read it while crossing the road or wrestling lions. You should also BEWARE as the book has sharp corners.

It’s very important to remember Docter Zone’s list of acronyms when reading this book or SPLOD as they're called (Special Protocol Language of Dangerology) and if you can remember them all, you’re much better than we are.

Danger is Everywhere is an entertaining read, packed with useful tips that are completely relevant to your child’s life. For example:

“School is a perfect place for zombies and in particular, VAMPIRES, to strike… A common vampire trick is to arrive at your school posing as a new teacher: ‘Oh, Mr/Ms Your Normal Teacher can’t come in today (Real Reason: As I chomped them) so I will take over till they come back (NEVER).”

This is a great book for any reluctant readers you have at home. With lots of fun illustrations by Chris Judge and animated typography, your child won’t even feel like they’re reading as they tuck into this energetic handbook.
