As any mum can attest, our children love nothing more than to copy their parents by mimicking phrases they've heard, actions they've witnessed or traits they've become accustomed to, but it looks like not everyone is as impressed by this child-like quirk as others.

Using an image of a little boy mimicking his mother's approach to feeding her younger child, support group, Breastfeeding Mama Talk, harnessed the image to promote the method.

Swiftly turning the image into a meme by accompanying the shot with the phrase "Don't worry Mom, I got you covered", the support group amassed much support as Facebook followers flocked to like and share the image.

However, not everyone was as enthused by the meme as others, with one internet user expressing concern for the safety of the infant, writing: "It's not that the boy shouldn't want to help his baby sibling, but he could accidently hurt the baby. I mean its nose and mouth are covered and that's just not OK."

Clarifying her point so as not to cause confusion regarding her stance on the nursing method, she elaborated: "I am currently breastfeeding my 21 month old so I'm not against breastfeeding, but this looks too dangerous."

Apparently incensed by the image, one internet user named Jeanette Lee didn't hold back when writing:"That's sick child pornographic. Those children need to be taken away from the parents and the photographer arrested."

Stunned by the reaction to the image, Breastfeeding Mama Talk replied to Jeanetta, writing: "If you see this and think porn your sick in the head. These are children imitating the act of breastfeeding. Breastfeeding is not sexual , get your mind out of the gutter!" (sic)

The image has thus far been liked 20,000 times and shared 7,000.
