In our house we would use about 4 10 packs of ham a week espeacially crumbed but never the honey flavoured ones as we thought it was not something we would like espeacially my fussy 5 year old so to my suprise he loved this flavour in the denny thicker cut range he had it for school and just to snack on. I am particularly happy that it does not have articicial additives or preservatives as im very very concious of what my son eats denny is a brand that i would always buy and i will definitely be buying the thicker cut range in the future.i also loved the packaging it came in as i felt assured it was fully recyclable

There are just 3 of us in the house. And our son is just 11months old and only recently started eating slices of ham. The thinner ham he just tends to fire across the room as its so limp. However this ticker cut ham he demolished.
I would buy ham in my weekly shop (Denny 10 slices) as it is a staple for lunches and pizza toppings.
Myself and my boyfriend loved the thicker slices however I felt the slices themselve were too small as one slice only filled 2/3 of a sandwich. I would buy again but would use for pizza or pasta rather than sandwiches.
I will continue to buy the larger 10 slices pack as we go through so much, its more economicial.
Can't fault the product on taste though just wouldn't go far enough for us.

We just finshed our supply of ham. My boys - Small and Big one loved it. They are ham eaters. Usually ham disappered with sandwiches in lunch boxes. Small one liked each kind and Big one mostly Oak Smoked. They also liked the thicker slices because they can feel the taste of meat. The only problem is the small size of the package. Too small. But probably I will buy Denny 100% Natural Ingredients Thicker Cut ham because it is tasty.

Love this Ham! myself, the kids and in particular my husband really enjoyed it, especially the Honey glazed. I would have to say however that 3 slices in a pack would really put me off buying this, as it would be gone in 2 minutes in our house! Found this great for myself and my husband, rather than the kids! and he used it in omlettes ;-) thanks so much it really was tasty, great packaging, and I would definitely buy if packs were available with more in! x

We love the Denny Thicker Cut in our house. The thicker cut & the fact its 100% natural ingredients impressed me even before we tried it. On trial lunch boxes come home empty and I served the honey glazed cut for dinner one evening with cabbage & white sauce. My hubby & I liked the Oak Smoked especially in Spanish omlettes. Will buy the crumbed and honey glazed more regularly in the future as everyone eats them.

I have 3 kids ages 2, 6 & 7 & each of them thought the ham was delicious, esp the honey one. Least favourite was the smoked. The thick slices felt like you were getting a decent bite & a filling sandwich. We used for lunch the day the arrived & the remainder in school lunches. I would have enjoyed using some in a pasta dish but it was gone too quick! I suggest you put at least 6 slices in a pack as ham is a staple in our fridge & I dont want to be needing to buy lots of packaging! The quality was excellent, it tasted & smelt like proper ham - I cant bear the watery mass produced type that you often see in supermarkets. Big thumbs up - good luck!

I buy ham for the family every week. It is used daily for school lunches and work lunches. We also eat ham for dinner once a week. Ham is also a favourite for salads, toasted sandwiches, picnics and day trips.

We all liked the Dennys thicker cut ham , particularly the smoked flavour. Having said this, all three varieties were eaten and were enjoyed by my 3 boys.

I would have no hesitation in buying the Denny thicker cut ham although a family sized pack would be better and possibly more economical.

Our Trial was delayed as we were heading away for a long weekend as the parcel arrived, only to be follwed by a family dose of tummy bug so in order to give the ham a fiar trial we waited to be back on form to try it out.
As a family we go through at least a pack of 6 slices a week. My 5 yr old loves ham but not the chemical taste of some of the overly processed ones. Denny is our top favorite brand already so trialing the ham was a great oppertunity.
We all love the thickness of the hams. out clear winner was the honey one. The smoked one although nice was abit overpowering. My partner decided that they would be nice griddled as a healthy alternitive to rashers. We ate the hams on brown bread, in salads and as mentioned one was griddled and served with a poached egg for a healthy breakfast.
We will definatly be purchasing this ham again for luches and as an ingrediant in dinners and breakfasts.

Hi, thank you for letting me be a part of the trial, it was a very tasty
experience. I think the fact that this ham is 100% natural will be the
selling point for a lot of people. I usually buy honey roast ham slices
from denny's. Myself and my 4 year old son tasted all of the flavours,
the best for us is still honey roast but oak smoked is really nice too.
The flavour of oak smoked one is strong but I like it that way and my
son enjoyed it as well, he likes food that's not bland. Crumbed ham has
much more mild flavour, it's nice too. Overall I think this ham is much
nicer tasting then other ones and will be my preferred choice for
sandwiches and as an addition to salad, also I will try it on a home
made pizza, it would be better than thin slices. pack of 3
slices is enough for me and my son to have in a day but if your family
is bigger or you're buying for a week I think a family size pack would
be a thing to go for. I hope denny's will have them in bigger packs too.

Thanks for chhosing us to take part in this trial! We are a fami;y of 2 adults and 2 children, aged 4 & 6. We eat quite a bit of ham but do not buy a lot of prepacked, preferring to boil and slice our own. Whe I do buy prepacked ham I am looking for a high percentage of pork, natural ingredients and as little additives as possible.
Not one slice of the trial ham made it to a sandwich or anything else, it was all eaten straight from the packet! The packaging clearly advertised that it was from the Denny 100% Natural Ingredients Thicker Cut range.
We tasted the honeyglazed first and this was my least favourite. It was a little sweet so it is not surprising that it was my 6 year olds favourite. I also did not like the crumb on the crumb coated. It was wet and soggy in the pack that I recieved but tasted fine. My favourite was the smoked ham. It had great smoked flavour and was really tasty.
I think that all three hams had that 'processed' slightly slimey and rubbery look and feel to them although they are much better than a lot of hams on the market. The pack size is very small, three small slices for the rrp of €1.99 does not represent good value for money to me and I probably would not buy it at that price. If it was on special offer, I might be tempted by the smoked ham.

Thank you very much for choosing us to participate in Denny 100% Natural Ingredients Thicker Cut Ham trial. We are family of three: 2 adults and little toddler (a girl of nearly 3). We are buying different cut ham regularly for lunches (sandwiches, paninis, salads, omelettes and etc.). The package clearly states that new products are 100% natural. However, we think the package size for family is very small. We would like at least 4 or 5 pieces of meat in each. Oaked Smoked Ham was the first package we opened. It was absolutely delicious. Three of us ate straight from the package. My husband loved Honey Glazed one the most as he as a sweet tooth. He made lovely paninis and they were yummy! Our little daughter munched all three varieties. We will certainly buy Denny 100% Natural Ingredients Thicker Cut Ham in future, but retail price should be more competitive with over products in the market.

Firstly thank you so much for choosing my family to be part of this trial. In our house we eat ham almost daily. My husband is a creature of habit and brings ham and cheese sandwiches with him for lunch at work daily. My son is taking after him and wants the same for lunch at school!! We also use ham in omelettes and as a topping for pizzas.

Generally I but the fresh sliced ham from the deli counter however I was delighted to discover that the new Denny thicker cut ham is 100% natural. This is important to me. We were delighted to be given a chance to try the three products but I would have to mention that three slices is simply not enough . As the slices were quite small ( though thick) my husband used two per sandwich. This meant that although we received the delivery of ham on Sunday morning by Monday evening they were all gone! It would be better if there were more slices in each packet .

All of the flavours were lovely but my husband and son felt that the crumbed version was their favourite! I myself only got to try the honey glazed ham and it was delicious.

I would certainly consider buying this ham again but only if it came in bigger packets with 6 or more slices as one packet as is would not even be enough for one lunch for my husband!!

Wow, finally a Ham for me. My Kids love Denny Ham especially 100% Natural Ham but for me it is a little on the thin side. I was so happy to be able to try the thicker slices. Something to bite into.

I tend once a week to make myself a quick omelette and this was the first test of Denny thicker ham, my favourite is the crumbed variety and I have to saw is was great for once I could taste Ham and not just eggs. My Husband liked the smoked variety the best so I didnt get a chance to try it, but he said it was amazing so I guess I will have to believe him. There was a fight over the honey glazed with 3 teenagers wanting to try it luckily there were 3 slices and yes they all wanted more.

But this is where my criticism comes in. 3 slices makes it not on the top of my list with a large family 6 kids I buy larger packs of Denny Ham as space in my fridge is at a premium, so Yes I will purchase it for myself/ Husband but for the kids they will remain with the 100% natural 10 slice packs. Also one other little thing I disliked was the pack did not reseal, so on the days I would just use 1 slice I had to cover it to retain the nice moist rich taste that I like.

Also I would pay more for a slightly bigger slice, but all in all a great product and Well Done Denny for flying the Irish Flag with a 100% natural product.

We usually buy at least two 10 slice packs of Denny ham each week so we were very excited to try this new product. We usually eat ham for lunch in rolls and sandwiches. I often add a few slices of ham to a raost chicken dinner as well. The packaging was very familiar and obviously Denny 100% Natural ingredients and conforting to know that the product is totally natural. The whole family enjoyed the taste and the texture of the ham. and the crumb coated was definitely the favourite. I think the three slices in the pack didnt go very far with the family though so for that reason I would be more likely to use as an add on to the roast dinner rather than for sandwiches. Alternatively would probably use if I knew I was having guests and making a special effort for lunch rather than an everyday lunch. All in All a lovely product but the three slices in a pack was not enough.

I was really excited to try this ham as I loved the recent Denny 100% Natural thinner ham slices. We usually eat ham for lunch in sandwiches and I often add it to quiches, pizzas, baked potatoes, etc. I love that Denny ham is 100% natural as I try to always buy the best quality food for my family. I recognised the packaging instantly as Denny, however I’m not a big fan of the packaging if I’m honest. It’s a bit flimsy and doesn’t reseal. Also, with only 3 slices of ham per packet, I would probably have to buy 5 packets a week…this means a lot more packaging going into the bin afterwards…so not very kind to the environment in my opinion. The ham itself is delicious and taste-wise I would definitely recommend it! I love that it’s thicker as there is so much more flavour…when added to as a pizza topping and in scrambled eggs I could really taste it. The crumb coat was the kids favourite for their sandwiches and I loved the honey glazed in my sandwich. The oak smoked was tasty but very strong…my hubby liked this but the kids not so much. If the ham came with more slices per pack i would be happy to buy this ham again x
