Received my hamper today just want to say as a first impression i am very impressed. Looking forward to trying out all the hams

Received my hamper too. Wasn't expecting it to be packaged so nicely. Have already had the family taste and so far the results are great. For me personally there is no compromise on taste by using all natural products. We had cut down on using ham for the family given the fact that there are so many questionable preservatives such as nitrates in most ham products off the shelf. This looks like it might become a family staple! Thanks.

Received the hamper today! Its gorgeous! Thanks a million. Had scrambled egg and honey glazed ham toasted sandwich for my dinner and it was very very tasty! The kids will be having some for lunch tomorrow. Will report more then.

The hamper was fantastic. Kids are delighted to have ham sandwiches again for school. I had cut out ham after a dietician suggested it when my son was having digestion problems. Also Philip Boucher Hayes did a programme highlighting school children's diet on RTE. The most common lunch was ham sandwiches. How ham is pumped with sodium nitrate etc. Sodium nitrite has been linked to many types of cancer. As a mother I'm very happy to use this product now, knowing that it is safer for my family. There isn't any noticeable difference in taste. Thanks again Denny & Mummy pages.

I was delighted with my hamper, I was expecting a coupon for a pk of hamso was really shocked when i got a call from a courier looking for directionsto deliver the hamper :)
So heres our Review :)
Ham would be used alot in my house, 4/5 lunch days a week for my eldest daughter as it is the only meat she eats on sandwiches, my self and partner would eat ham approx 3-5 times a week for our lunch or in omlettes for breakfast.
When the hamper arrived and i explained to my daughter why we had received it she asked to try some, so i opened the pack and rolled her a sliceher first impression of the ham was it just looks the same mam, but when she tasted it she said oh mam thats real ham, its not rubbery lol its tastes just like our sunday ham, so it was def a winner with her, and now when i make her lunch in the mornings she always askes me is it the REAL ham mam ,lolshes even asking can she have it with potoates and veg for dinner.
I tried it myself and i have to say it is very very nice, and it will def be the ham on my shopping list from now on, and one i will recommend to others.its hard to get a really nice pk of ham, normally they're all near enough the same, but i defitinatly thought there was a clear difference in taste and texture of this one
I sent a packet over to my mam who is the fussiest eater going, she normally wont buy packets of ham, she gets a couple of loose slices from the deli counter in her local butchers, i told her not to say anything but just to try it. she phoned me later that evening, she had been converted, she loved it and has said that she will now be buying thatham.
Im shocked that the change with only using natural ingredients and improvingthe quality of this meat isnt coming with a price tagnormally you only get what you pay for. and when somethign is new and improved etcit normally means new price tag too.Its also great that you know exactally whats in it, and only natural ingredients are used so you know exactally what you and yourfamily are eating, cause in this day and age, too many things are loaded with artificial flavours and colours.

Well you out did yourself guys. Amazing Amazing hamper it was like all my birthday's came at once when the hamper came to the door. Delicious yummy ham.. and of course the few little extra bits thown in were a treat love the pencils and the cup such a great idea. Well the minute the hamper came I made up a batch of toasted ham and cheese sambos made with the crumbed hamand they went down a treat even my son ( who wont eat) ate them. That evening i made a quiche lorriane again with the tradititional ham again gorgeous. What I noticed that there was no fat or grissle on this ham which was fantastic there is nothing worse then getting a pack of ham with a large piece of fat in it. Straight away you can tell the difference with the texture with the ham.
I was reading up about the new ham and I'm trilled that there is no MSG in it and also no added water :) go Denny. I 100% converted to this product now. Thank you so much for bringing this out to the market. i have to say Ive never tasted honey roast ham before and by golly it is delicious !!

I was so impressed with the hamper couldnt believe how brillo it was.
my little fella wont eat bread for me and I went off the sliced pk ham for a while as i found it rubbery & fake but was delighted to see this denny ham tasting so good. no rubbery taste at all!
now my boy asks for ham rolled up as his mid day snack. good & healthy. and ive had ham sambos all everyday since!! : )

How often do you and your family eat ham? Which members of the family eat it normally i.e the children,partner etc? we would like to eat it almost every day but have recentlly cut down due to the sodium nitrates content. My school going daughter loves a ham sandwich and my preschooler would happily have a rolly-up ham for breakfast and or lunch if I let her.

And which did thechildren like? the honey roast was our favouite folowed by the traditional. I loved that it tasted like real ham not rubbery ham.
5. How do you feel about Denny Deli Style 100% Natural Ingredients Ham now only including 5 naturalingredients? I love it, I am converted!
6. Did you and your family enjoy the taste of new Denny Deli Style 100% Natural Ingredients Ham? yes, the taste is really good, delighted that it tastes so close to homecooked ham.
7. Would it surprise you to know that Denny has retained its strong value for money pricing on the new andimproved product? yes very surprised. the first thing mymum asked me when she tasted it was but is it a lot more expensive?

Thanks for the great Denny hamper and I enjoyed tasting the new Denny Natural Ingredient Ham. We are all ham eaters in my house from adults to kids and enjoy a slice of ham for lunch in sandwiches. It is easy to see from the packaging that this new ham is from the Deli Style range. I was delighted to see it was 100% natural and it tasted like real cooked ham. The kids thought it was soft ham and tasted more like real cooked ham for Christmas dinner. The kids favourite was the Crumbed Ham and mine was the Honey Roast ham. They have been eating ham sandwiches all week and just love it. I like the fact that it does not contain anything artificial and the ham contains ingredients that are unprocessed. It is more healthy for all the family. Even better I am delighted that Denny has not increased it's price for this change to the quality and taste of the ham. I always buy Denny anyway but this range of ham will now be what I put in my shopping trolley.

Thanks so much for my fab hamper. I was delighted. I have always enjoy the denny crumbed range, it was what my mam bought for us so it was a natural choice for me when i had a family of my own and its always been a staple on our shopping list. I had cut back on using ham when the reports came out and ham got a bad time in the press so i cut it down to one lunch a week. So I delighted to know i can reintroduce it. I gave my parents and my neighbour a pack and asked them to let me know what they thought. They both asked me what the difference was as they thought it tasted fantastic. We had a luch day and i had my parents and nieces over for toasted sandwiches during the week. Ham is a great option for lunch, we are a huge fan of toasted sambos for lunch in our house and i like adding it to omlettes. I am going to give a pack to my daughters playschool and hope i can convert them as the kids have ham twice a week in playschool. Thrillled to hear denny have not changed their price. They are really looking out for their customers!

Just received my samples today at the store, the woman behind the counter thought I won a contest. Awesome hamper, I am so excited! Going to have some ham for the next couple of days, so will keep you posted with my opinion.

Denny's 100% Natural Deli Style Traditional Style Ham:

I am wearing my Denny's apron and just made a ham (using the Denny's 100% natural traditional ham) and low fat cheese quesadilla. The ham is delicious, tastes like I just sliced it off a real ham I made earlier. I love when I have left over ham so that I could make sandwiches out of it. Well done Denny's, I think the traditional ham is a keeper. I will definitely buy it in the future. Not only does it taste great, but I know it's good for me and my son. There's nothing better than knowing what I am feeding my family. As I read the ingredients on the back, I could not believe that it said 95% pork I am gobsmacked. I have NEVER seen that high of a percentage before on the back of any pork/ham product. I am delighted with the result, and look forward to trying the other 2 products within the next couple fo days. Oh and all you mommies out there, these ham and cheese quesadillas are delicious, healthy, and fun to eat as an afternoon snack. They are very easy to make and the children love them. Here's the recipe:

You will need soft tortilla wraps (preferrably the wheat ones), low fat cheddar cheese slices, Denny's 100% natural traditional style ham, a teaspoon of sunflower oil, and mild salsa. In a frying pan, heat up the oil on medium heat. Place 1 tortilla wrap in frying pan, place slices of ham in a single layer on top to cover it (about 3 slices), place slices of cheese on top of the ham in the same way (about 3 slices), and cover with another tortilla wrap. Flip over carefully but quickly after about 2 minutes, then remove from pan after another 2 minutes. Cool for about 30 seconds then cut it into 8 wedges using a pizza cutter. Serve with salsa for dipping. Yum

got my hamper today . lovely ham. my daughter and husband loved each one and had to make loads of sandwiches to test the packs haha. i didnt expect such a great hamper. thanks a million . i would recomend dennys ham to everyone and will try it again myself .

Received the wonderfully packaged hamper yesterday. I was expecting a voucher to buy some of the ham. We would use three to four ten slice packs of ham per week. Mostly the kids lunches and also a few toasties. We were all really impressed with the quality of the ham. There was no rubbery texture and in fact the texture was much more like freshly cut meat than packaged ham. Favourite was the crumbed but that's the favourite variety here anyway! I will most definitely buy this am again. Recent publicity about the dangers of processed meats have made me feel bad about giving the kids so much ham but it is the only meat they will eat in sandwiches. Now I can buy this ham without any worries and get great flavour at a good price! Excellent!

Ok 2 packets of ham down.. My husband and kids and of course myself think its just gorgeous.. Its so tasty, its really making difference to the sandwich.. We had it sliced with chicken in a pasta dish last night and it was so nice... Thanks again Denny. Back to school tomorrow so it'll be used in the lunch boxes.. Will report more in a few days.
